At Roamer Robotics™, we are pioneers in educational robotics, with a legacy that spans over 40 years. Our passion for education and technology drives us to create innovative learning tools that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

We have been designing and selling educational robots longer than anyone else in the world. From the ground-breaking Turtle in 1983 to the latest iteration of Roamer™, our journey has been shaped by a commitment to combining the science of learning with thoughtful design. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore, experiment, and develop essential problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences.

Originally developed by Dave Catlin, a world renowned robotics engineer and product designer, our work is deeply influenced by the pioneering ideas of Seymour Papert. Dave played a key role in developing some of the most influential educational robots used in classrooms worldwide.

Today’s educational robotics market is filled with countless options. Our goal is to strip away the marketing hype and provide factual, research-based insights into what truly benefits learners.
